If you had a free round-trip ticket to anywhere, where would you go?
Hands down… The Artic Circle – I’d do Finnish and Swedish Lapland, Noway and then on my way home I’d travel via Denmark into Faroe Islands, Iceland and then work my way to the far north of Scotland to see Dunnet Head, then travel to the Outer Hebrides and then into Wales before finally heading home to Sydney, Australia. I’d definitely aim for deep winter in order to maximise the experiences and possibility of snow. I’d be guided by the dancing aurora borealis most of the trip – before heading back into the scorching heat of summer in the southern hemisphere.
