Selectively Juggling

Do I believe in karma? We’ve got your instant karma, your slow burn karma and the highly controversial generational karmic debt. I’ve seen many examples of what can be construed as ‘karma’ – both the good and bad variety. I think we are currently witnessing a long overdue global and seismic unfurling of karma. Yet, I see and hear of countless others, of violent, oppressive, and manipulative individuals who appear to remain unscathed. I’m hoping that they’re simply on the karmic bus’s long list of stops. I’m hoping that when finally karma catches up with them, that the impact is undeniably effective. Each lesson specifically tailored to each individual.

Do I believe in karma? I think that there are events which easily fit the theory of “for every action/force there is an equal and opposite action/force”. Howevet, I think just like many systems around the world, the karma freight train and karma buses can be unreliable, inconsistent and temperamental. It seems like karma may need to work on its principles, time management and effectiveness. Or perhaps that’s just me being impatient and wanting to see real time results. I think it needs to sharpen its arrow and assert its dominance and power.

I hope karma isnt afraid to go after the corrupt and insanely arrogant billionaires and patrons of fear and hate. I don’t want to see karma waste its energy on small trivial matters, but rather sink its sizeable teeth into the collective backsides of those who espouse and benefit from hatred and violence against others. Look around- there seems to be a proliferation at the moment.

Would I like to know that karma exists? Yes?

Do I believe in karmic debt? I know I wish there wasn’t such a thing, yet evidence seems to point to its existence. Do I disagree with principles of karmic debt ? Absolutely, because why should someone be laboured with the sins and actions of previous family members? Especially if they live good and just lives themselves. I know it’s a little different from general karma, but it all comes down to a similar philosophy “have they understood the life lesson, and the consequences of their/others’ actions and choices?”

Karma isn’t a bitch – that’s insulting. Karma can be methodical, patient and slow to respond. Karma can be laser focused, unrelenting in its pursuit of justice and or retribution. Karma can be mysterious, as well as having a twisted sense of humour. Karma can be pragmatic and direct, or slow and measured. Either way, I do see karma as a pendulum, a continuous force or energy that operates on its own set of governing principles and purposes. I see its underlying goal is to teach people and change their behaviours. I don’t see it as a vindictive, but rather a great equaliser of universal justice. Karma is the OP of FAFO.

Perhaps karma is like a mystical universal energy and justice system – a type of court system. Perhaps the lag between a person’s crime and their karmic punishment, is simply because court is still in session and evidence is being weighed. Perhaps a perpetrator’s actions are so heinous that the powers that be are attempting to adequately frame the necessary karmic punishment. Perhaps some karma seems immediate, because there’s karma foot police handing out fines. While other karmic punishment takes longer because of the gravity of the offence (look around at what’s happening now)
