What is your favorite holiday? Why is it your favourite?
Christmas time is by far my favourite holiday period. Given that I am Australian and we celebrate Christmas during our summer time, we literally spend Christmas time swimming and frolicking outdoors.
The cicadas serenade, the southerly breezes caress the hot skin after a hot day. Christmas time is relaxed and low key. I do love visiting my Dutch in-laws during Christmas and making a whole month of fun, cold weather and hopefully snow. It is such a vast difference to Christmas here in Australia. Whereas my husband doesn’t like going back during winter, he prefers going in European summer. He’s finally used to the hot drawn out Christmas heat.
Who doesn’t love a thong wearing (flip flops) shorts wearing surfing Santa?
