You get to build your perfect space for reading and writing. What’s it like?
It would be a greenhouse type building with a high glass atrium. The glass walls will have a UV film on them which prevents harsh sunlight. I will have hundreds of lush plants, some hanging in macrame hangers and pots, others strewn across the wood and industrial surfaces and benches. In my favourite corner there will be a plush leather and rattan lounge (sofa/couch) rattan coffee table, and exquisitely built organic form large bookcase. Fairy lights adorn the sides of the walls, so night time ambiance is magical. In the same corner stands a mod century Scandinavian desk and matching chair. Stop it sits my laptop and a gorgeous stained glass reading light. This greenhouse sits at the bottom of my garden, shaded by lush trees and enveloped in gentle breeze. Dappled sunlight dances throughout the space. This is my perfect place. In summer the large windows and skylight windows can be opened to allow continuous use, not just the autumn, winter & spring. I am surrounded by birdsong, light and inspirational nature.
