Five things I do for fun.

List five things you do for fun.

Water play – swimming, frollicking and imaging I am half Eagle and half dolphin – splashing and diving and as I do delighting in the sensation of tiny bubbles caressing my skin. It feels otherwordly.

Photography – I delight in losing myself to the world within my camera lens. It speaks another language, one of metaphor and deeper meaning. It is a world where cerebral thought and visceral feeling synthesise, creating a somewhat sacred space of awe and gratitude for what I see and feel. I feel complete flow state of being. Connected to this is turning my photography into digital art.

Camping- I thoroughly enjoy camping with my family. I delight in the planning process, perfecting the packing. My mind becomes like a game of Tetris, believe me it’s amazing just how much can fit in a car. I love driving out of the city and into the bush, and as I do stress gives way to open-mindfilness, stimulationg conversation and laughter.

Family and friends – although I’m somewhat of an introvert, or ambivert I do enjoy spending time with those I deem close. Often music, food and laughter is involved.

Dancing in the rain- I will admit that I love dancing in the rain, feeling summer rain on my bare skin. My inner child delights in tilting her head up to the sky, and with a cheekish sense of abandonment stick out her tongue to feel the cool splash of rain drops.
