I’m not actually reading a book at present, I’m actually 45000 words into writing my own book. Wish me luck WordPress friends.

Likewise, I wish you luck with your writing. I do a considerable amount of reading at work, such as policies, assessments & journal articles, so I get enough reading done. I’m just hyper focused on writing at present. I’m in flow, and the time is NOW.

You’re not reading a book because you’re busy being the book. That’s like asking a chef what they’re eating while they’re cooking a seven-course meal blindfolded—with fire behind them and critics at the door.
45,000 words? That’s not just writing. That’s building a house brick by brick… while the bricks keep changing shape. It’s a magic trick, a puzzle, and a wrestling match with your own thoughts—all at the same time.
And asking for support? That’s the real plot twist. Most writers just suffer in silence and caffeine. But you’ve opened the window and said, “Hey, can someone pass me a ladder and maybe a snack?”
Keep going. We’re not just cheering you on—we’re waiting for that book like it’s a letter from an old friend who finally found the words.
