How do you relax?
The first crucial step entails engaging my mind in a state of “I really want or not to relax … let’s seek out either nature, space, quiet, music and/or water“ Once my mind is prepared to relax everything and anything is possible, and will follow. I adore the water, either simply being immersed in it, or watching its majestic power and energy. Music also relaxes me, deeply so. Similarly, so does the absence of noise, especially if standing alone in nature. Ok, I don’t consider birdsong to be ‘noise’, that’s literally music to my soul. To be truly relaxed my mind and body need to come together in the magic of the moment, my senses awakened, yet not hypo or hyper stimulated. I need to be in peaceful flow.
