A mix of several activities.
What is your favorite form of physical exercise? I love swimming, in fact I think there must have been a mermaid in my family tree. I literally can spend hours swimming, diving and frolicking in the water. I enjoy watching the air bubbles catch the light, as well as the feeling of sunshine and water…

My creative endeavours
What are you most proud of in your life? Obviously I’m most proud of my beautifully resilient kids and family. I’m proud of my garden and the ability to grow fresh produce to share and eat with my family. I’m proud that I am the only one of my siblings to not only finish school,…

Eclectically equipped

Definitely nothing to do with inherited wealth, privilege and birthright. Success is getting up after being knocked down. Success…

Healthy boundaries
What makes a good neighbour? What makes a good neighbour? Healthy boundaries for starters! Then comes compassion, humour, a sense of community, patience, respect and great communication skills. I’d also say flexibility is important, as is someone who has a decent taste in music and knows what noise pollution is.

My hardest personal goal
What was the hardest personal goal you’ve set for yourself? Hands down the hardest personal goal I’ve ever set for myself was to be the person holding my Dad’s hand, staying by his bedside as he slipped away from this life.. Thankfully in his last 4 days he’d been surrounded by mum and all his…

Creative and productive hobbies.
What is your favourite hobby or pastime? My favourite hobbies are definitely writing (I’m an aspiring novelist), photography (I aspire to have a photography exhibition) and gardening. With gardening I enjoy time in nature, the physicality of hardcore gardening and the fact that I’m helping to produce fruit and vegetables. I am also creating a…
