Selectively Juggling

My preference is hot weather, as I love swimming, so late Spring, Summer and Autumn allows for swimming. However, I also love every season. As each have their own unique beauty and signature. The colours of late Autumn are stunning, as are the changes from hot humid days and nights into more temperate cooler nights. The longer shadows of Autumn are fantastic to capture on camera. Camping in Autumn is the best. Long days of activity and exploration paired with cooler nights, campfires and star gazing.

Winter is also beautiful as the colours of wintery skies is softer – almost like Turner’s colour palette. Winter’s are mild here, never any sleet or snow. Just colder crisper shorter days.

I love spring with all its promise and rich scents. I love to see new growth in my garden. Spring promises longer days and warmer sunlight.

I don’t like the howling winds of August. Or the blinding glare of Autumn as the sun sets differently. It’s not fun trying to drive during peak hours and setting suns.

Winter is gorgeous when sunny and dry, yet Winter rains and damp can be challenging.

Summers intense heat and humidity can also be too much at times. Especially when fierce hail force winds threaten potential bush fires.
