Selectively Juggling

I think I would like a dragonfly tattoo. However, I only have one tattoo and it is of a small design I made honouring my father, on the day he died. It sits on my left inner wrist. I will eventually pair it with one, on the day my mother takes her final breath. They were joined in life – and their journey can continue – written on my skin.

I’m highly unlikely to get the dragonfly tattoo. But perhaps I might decide it’s worth the pain.
