Selectively Juggling

I’ve learned to value copilot- it has enabled me to be more efficient, effective and have greater cognitive energy to focus on more important aspects of work. AI has effectively reduced my professional cognitive burden, allowing me to accomplish boring tasks quickly, therefore leaving me with more time and energy to focus on the harder, higher-order aspects of the job. However, I realise that AI is only as good as the questions, tasks and demands that you feed it. There is a skill in getting the best of your AI tool.

My sons hate AI – are incredibly disturbed by the social and environmental impacts of AI super centres and their reliance on vast volumes of water. I should be more enlightened and aware – but the reality is a good, well defined copilot request can help me balance aspects of my work.
