Do you ever see wild animals?
This morning I woke up early (even though it’s a Saturday) , anyway as I proceeded to rinse out a cup I was greeted with a rather large huntsman spider. It was struggling to get out of the sink – so I somehow managed to rescue it and relocate to a nearby Peace Lyly plant on my kitchen bench. A few minutes later and said spider , let’s call him “Harry” was near my feet. Again I scooped “Harry” up in a container and relocated him to my prized front room (it’s my indoor plant room) I proceeded to watch as Harry ‘Tarzaned’ or ‘Janed’ their way through my jungle like plant display. Harry then settled into a safe corner- safe and sound.
As an Australian (even though living in built up metropolitan Sydney) I see an abundance of wildlife. We’ve had Numbats, Possums, Bandicoots, deadly snakes, deadly spiders, birds beyond your imagination, lizards and so on visit us. Obviously some visitors are cherished, whilst others are feared – literally drawing the life from our bodies.
