Do you trust your instincts?
They have never steered me wrong. Not once – not ever! I believe a lot of instinct comes down to having really effective pattern recognition skills, coupled with high emotional intelligence and resilience. Experiencing trauma can lead to hyper vigilance and being sensitive to subtle and nuanced changes – such as change in tone and energy. Instinct is being able to be present enough in each moment, that you actually listen to what your brain, mind, heart, body and soul is trying to tell you. Furthermore, it’s about self-efficacy and belief- that is self-belief, not allowing yourself to be gaslit by others (or self) Instinct is implicitly felt – I feel it was my whole body.
