Share a lesson you wish you had learned earlier in life.
I wish that I had learned to say ‘no’ instead of learning to try and please everyone. I wish I had learned – I mean truly learned that I was perfectly imperfect, just the way I was. I wish I had learned earlier that I had value and worth regardless of the fact that I grew up in poverty. I wish I knew just how intelligent and capable I truly was. I wish I had learned earlier not to doubt myself, but to embrace my quirks, intelligences and dreams and push harder. I wish I had learned to fly under the radar even more, not to trust and rely on narcissistic siblings. I wish I had learned the I was more than just my childhood experiences, or placement within such a large family. I wish I had known and valued self worth, self compassion and self love earlier.
