Selectively Juggling

I just read a mind-numbingly boring piece on the psychology of saved images and phone home screens. What’s on my mobile phone home screen? A photo of trees awash with glorious sunlight. BTW we call our mobile phones “mobile phones” or simply “mobile” or “phone” here in Australia- never a cell phone.

Anyway the article was mindless fluff – it didn’t shed light on anything, other than illuminate that people loved their pets. It was more interesting to scroll through the comments and see that other readers felt the same as I did. The article was almost an insult to our intelligence. Like seriously in a world as messed up and highly nuanced as ours, surely there’s an almost inexhaustible array of more interesting subjects to write about.
