What are 5 everyday things that bring you happiness?
My family: Seeing my children blossoming into their authentic selves. My three kids are all uniquely different from each other.

My daughter: My daughter has a rare disability, which manifests itself in physical and cognitive ways, such as a benign brain tumour and moderate intellectual disability. To witness how my daughter has face incredible challenges, but has managed to go from strength to strength, tackling life full-on, fills me with both pride and joy. There is bittersweet joy, but joy nonetheless.

Nature: Being in and around nature brings me great balance, joy, calm and gratitude. I literally vibrate with joy when absorbing the sights, sounds, sights and smells of nature.

Being creative: It costs nothing, but can have immeasurable worth. I especially adore photography and writing. Following my passions, brings me joy and deep satisfaction. Perhaps, as I hear or see myself write this, I should take note and realise I need to spend more time writing and taking photos.

Cooking and baking: I love baking and cooking. I especially love being able to share what I make with my family. I love paying homage to my dad, infusing the gluten free breads and loaves I bake with cumin and caraway seeds. I love watching my kids eyes light up when they anticipate wrapping their mouths around the food.
