Selectively Juggling

I adore the magical moment when the sun gently awakens, imbuing all it touches with a golden glow. It holds within its very touch the promise of a new day, new hope, and new choices. Have you ever had the privilege of sitting on a beach dune pre sunrise, waiting for the first golden rays to streak across the expectant sky? I have and it’s pure magic. Likewise there is great beauty in watching the last of the sun’s rays spread across the horizon. The last flecks of light shimmering in the evening sky, as if gently kissing the earth goodbye.

I also adore the moonrise, watching the moon creep across the sky. Once I got to witness the moon dance across a star-studded desert sky. We watched in awe as the moon took centre stage against the stunning Milky Way backdrop. With absolutely no light pollution the moon’s glow rivalled that of the sun, a-washing the desert sands in an ancient glow. Just as I adore the sun’s final kiss in the evening sky, so too its sister the moon and its gentle early morning kiss goodbye as it finally dips from the sky.
