Seriously? Literally everything and anything

What could you do differently?

The real question should be “what couldn’t you do differently?” … then I’d be wracking my brain to come up with an interesting response. Seriously, honestly and somewhat naively, what actions, choices and activities aren’t at the very least driven by us? Our use of agency and free-will? Yes, I understand there are millions of people around the would who don’t have the privilege of real choice and freedom. I respect that, and can understand how that leads to lack of social and personal freedoms and choice. However, for me as an Australian I have the privilege of choices, so in all reality I am responsible for my choices and any resulting consequences. So, I’ve been approaching fitness, health and wellbeing differently. I’ve also realised that I’m the main grocery shopper & cook in my pretty traditional (yawn) family. So therefore I have the ability to control what my family eat, which leads me to being mindfully aware of the nutritional healing power found in healthy diets. This is important as two of my kids have significant health issues. So what I am doing different is approaching health, fitness and wellbeing from a holistic perspective. I’m using my power to create healthy and nutritious meals and lifestyles for myself, my kids and husband. Literally, if I don’t buy the processed crap, the kids can’t eat it. Don’t be alarmed, as I’m incredibly creative and motivated to create great tasting and varied food. I need to hold myself accountable and act accordingly, no excuses.
