RIP Dad, I still miss you every day. I’m grateful for your depth of character, compassion, emotional intelligence, integrity, intelligence, wicked sense of humour, generosity, irreverence, child-like wonder and awe. I’m grateful to have witnessed your strong sense of purpose, social justice and equality. You may be gone, but your positive impact on my life, the way I perceive, process and engage with others bears your indelible influence. I’m grateful to have called you dad. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. You endured so much in your life, yet you always … always picked yourself up, managed to smile and carry us all forward. Your tenacity and resilience were second to none. Creatively, insightful… a true pragmatic dreamer. Who is now free to roam the heavens.
