There’s no place like home

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?

Given the current social, geopolitical, political, environmental, economic uncertainties here, there and elsewhere, I’m grateful to have a place to call home. I love where I live (Sydney, Australia) I am surrounded by both city and nature, the built environment and natural environment. I have a pool, a garden and am close to work. I would like a holiday home in the country, near a water source and on a large acreage, someday. I don’t desire or long to move overseas and live in a small stone cottage in Wales, or a Parisian Apartment, or a Dutch Townhouse on a canal. I can visit those places and experience those spaces temporarily, if need be. I’m content, grateful and appreciative of the home I have. After all I’m actually living someone’s dream.
