Tough question…

What’s the most delicious thing you’ve ever eaten?

I thoroughly enjoyed lashings of freshly made hummus with an assortment of fresh crisp salad veggies while holidaying in Dubai. Actually every time I bite into the succulent mix of sweetness and tartness found in firm seedless grapes, or the sweet summeriness of juicy watermelon I think “this is the most incredible thing I’ve ever eaten”. The same for tangy nectarines and peaches, or succulent naval oranges, my tastebuds dance with euphoric joy.

I adore fresh avocado sushi with shavings of pickled ginger. I delight in a glass of icy cold water, complete with fresh garden picked mint leaves and lemon juice. Knowing that I’ve watched the lemons and mint grow is seriously gratifying. I love fresh Vietnamese rice summer rolls dipped in pungent chilli and satay sauces.

I like to eat clean, and I delight in fresh, simple flavours. Although Im a spice and chilli fiend. I love food that is crisp and clean on my palette, and doesn’t leave a gritty or fatty overtaste or feeling. One last note, I do love making freshly squeezed juices. I also love medjool dates, especially in an almond milk, banana and mixed berry smoothie. I feel like I’m nourishing my body and soul. Oh and home made pumpkin, sweet potato spicy soup is always a winner in my books, especially with plenty of garlic, ginger, cumin and turmeric, dash of coconut cream and fresh herbs. YUMMO
